ConfigurationS4A Smart WORKLOAD is configured to administrator defined rules such as: shift load, Dispatchers (availability, overtimes, absences, etc.) and workload optimization.
Workload OptimizationThe system uses rules configured previously. The main objective is the distribution of work (flights) to individual work assignments in terms of a number of dispatchers required. Work load is distributed to optimize start times, shift periods or as defined by rules.
Administration of ShiftsThe Supervisor is able to dynamically re-distribute work if required due to the changing demands of the operation and available resources.
S4A Smart WORKLOAD also provides multiple reports for statistical purposes.
Shift OptimizationWorkload optimization is performed for the time period from ‘now’ until the end of the available SSIM data.
Workload OptimizationWorkload optimization is accomplished for the time period from ‘now’ until the end of the available SSIM data. For this time period the individual dispatchers are assigned as defined in Shift Requirement Optimization but may change as outlined in the „Day of Optimization” section.
Day Of OptimizationAn optional workload optimization may be performed on the Day of Operation or a Day prior to the operation. This re-optimization may be necessary due to conditions defined as irregular operations, such as severe weather conditions, delays etc.
